About Us

We are a local family with a vision of how we can help others.  With skills to repair vacuums, sewing machines, and small appliances we decided we wanted to open a shop to help others extend the life of their machines.  Growing up we learned that not everything is replaceable so keeping it running can mean a lot. "Fix it don't replace it!" "Not everything can be new." "It's got a little more life in 'er."

When I was young and in the Navy, I learned quickly, that what I had been told my entire childhood, fix it because we didn't always have new, was not just an old-fashioned way of thinking, it was a life skill.  I also learned how important keeping things neat and tidy helps.  So when Courtney and I decided to open a store, we decided we would fix vacuums to help others keep their places "ship shape".  And with the help of our extended family, we decided to add sewing machines and other small appliances. 

We work on a variety of machine models and brands including but not limited to ORECK, Riccar, Cirrus, Bissell Commercial, Simplicity, Dyson, Hoover, Filter Queen, Kirby, Royal, Sharp, Shop-Vac, Perfect, Kenmore, Eureka, Clarke, Featherweight, and many more. 

We can even do warranty work on Riccar, Simplicity, CleanMax, Powr-Flite, Tornado, ORECK, Bissell Big Green Commercial, Airway Sanitizer, Titan, and Cirrus, with More to come. We have also added Ryobi, RIDGED, Homelite, Hart, Blackmax, Powerstroke, electric power tools, and outdoor electrical equipment to our warranty work list.    

We are proud of our work and will be very honest about what we can and cannot work on.  So feel free to ask. We may even have ideas you didn't consider before.
